During the last years, developers sharing their knowledge around metadata and artificial intelligence in broadcast have made up the success of MDN.
The MDN workshop will as usual consist of one hour long sessions that start with a presentation and ends in discussions and exchange of new ideas. If you have a smaller contribution a half hour session will also be possible, or alternatively more depending on the subject and needs.
This is a workshop. We are not just asking for presentations, but an in-depth introduction to your solutions or technical developnments. Problems and challenges for lively discussion are more than welcome. As an exemple, the idea of the CCDM school (a successful series of webex and meetings to share experience in implementing CCDM) was born during the 2017 MDN workshop at the initiative of YLE.
The topic is metadata in broadcast, but in a wide scope, from metadata driven architecture, standards, delivery and publishing. With the broadening of the scope of MIM-AI, this will also include all related business aspects of AI.
If you have something you would like to contribute, write a few lines describing your contribution to Tormod Værvågen (Tormod.Varvagen@nrk.no) and/or Jean-Pierre Evain (email@example.com) or via the MDN reflector (firstname.lastname@example.org).
