COVID-19: a driver for change in access to audiovisual heritage collections

7-8 October: A virtual exchange between audiovisual archive professionals

IASA and FIAT/IFTA invite members to join a virtual exchange, during which AV archive professionals can share experiences and use cases on the topic of COVID-19 as a driver for change in accessing digital heritage collections.

The aim of the virtual exchange is to:

• facilitate a discussion on the impact of COVID-19 for the AV archival sector, specifically related to online access to collections;
• gather professionals from the global archival community to discuss how positive changes can be identified and sustained;
• share best practices, individual experiences and by jointly thinking of best ways forward and new strategies.

The main findings will be summarised in a report and published on the FIAT/IFTA and IASA websites.
